TWINS STUDY MAY GIVE SOME INSIGHT INTO ALZHEIMER'S

Recently, there has been a study in twins that gives clues about the Alzheimer's disease.
According to experts, the symptoms and the brain changes of this illness can vary from person to person. Nevertheless, in identical twins there were similitaries in how the disease progressed.
The team of scientists compared the brains of seven couples of twins and one or both of them died due to the Alzheimer. After that, all the twins were diagnosed and some pairs of twins had this disease, so they died. Unfortunatly, the causes of the Alzheimer are not clear.
A new study proposes that there may be a range of possible causes instead of one cause, but this suggestion depends of the genetic of a person.
To conclude, an investigator said the twins study is useful because it suggests a combination of things that happens in their brains.
