Some investigators say that inadequate sleep and obesity are related, specially in teenagers whose obesity proportion increase 30% in the US. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adolescent obesity has quadrupled. 21% of youths in 2012 have had obesity. The teens that suffered this have more probability of getting joint problems, prediabetes or poor self-esteem and if they continued with the problem of adults, the diseased can be more serious.
The investigators from this study examinated 37 obese teenagers between the ages of 11 and 17.
It is advisable youth people do exercise and sleep recommended to have a good health now and in the future.
